Had the o-shot today the doc said I need to wait 5 days for any sex, everything I read said there is no down time is this true ?
Hi Misty,
I get my o- shot September 11 with Dr.Brenner , had consultation with her few weeks ago she told me same thing because of having intimate procedure with the o shot . I am excited for Monday to get here.
Darn it everything I read said same day :/ although I’m a lil sore today, good luck with your shot 🙂
Hi Misty,
You don’t have to wait you can have sex the same day as the procedure.
Have a great day.
Karla Jarvis, APRN
I just got my O’ shot done last Tuesday August 18, 2020 and they never numbed me and it was the most painful experience ever. Now since my procedure I have no sensation or feeling down there and she told me I would have a higher sensation after a few days. I’m in my 30’s I feel like the place I went to the lady didn’t know what she was doing and I’m upset that I spent all this money and now I’m completely numb down there and I don’t have feeling to even have sex at all. I just looked up the list of certified nurses and doctors on your list and I didn’t find the place I went to. It was a med spa called Arizona Facial plastics. I’m very sad. Is there a way to get this fixed or do I go see a lawyer as their not certified??
It sounds like you had a horrible experience from a dishonest person. Anyone can search and easily see that only those providers listed in our directory have demonstrated understanding of the procedure and should be doing the procedure. Unfortunately, there are dishonest people even in health care. If they are not on our list, they mislead you. Bad outcomes can happen even with the best of physicians, but we have no idea of knowing even what these people did. Only people on our list are licensed to use the name. Please send the name of the person to the following email… support@cellularMedicineAssocation.org
We will have our legal team stop their advertisements of the procedure; whether you do more than this to protect others in your community it up to you.
I suffer from LS. My husband is very sexual and has been very understanding but my constantly saying no wears him down sometimes. I want to have sex more and I do enjoy it but my LS causes tearing and soreness. Making it all very negative. I feel bad for him and myself. He’s so loving and I want to always be able to give him and our relationship 200%.
Look in the directory and find someone who treats LS near you, It will help you

Hello, I just learned about the O Shot & have called a handful of your listed physicians on your site. What i am learning is that they all have different concentration levels of PRP. What level should I be looking for to get the best result? I am specifically getting this shot for the orgasm benefit as I’ve apparently never really had one.
Doing research on the o-shot, many providers are claiming different levels of PRP concentration. What level should I be looking for?
Hello..I’ve been doing much research on this and am curious as to what amount of PRP concentration is needed for the Oh Shot procedure. With speaking to the providers they throw out #’s such as 2-5%, 5-7% & even 10% (on how effective their machines are). This is confusing & I probably dont need a 10% concentration. Thoughts?
Hi Olivia, great question! The short answer is that there is really no study or research comparing the different concentrations and their results in these procedures. At least I have not seen them. They should be done but are difficult to do in theory (how do you treat one side with a lower concentration and another side with a higher concentration, or for the OShot, how many people do you treat with a lower concentration to compare and can you really tell different results when the results are variable to begin with). What I can tell you is how I do it in my practice. I use a “better” system called a “double-spin” system to obtain more total blood and therefore more total PRP and/or higher concentration. In procedures like the Vampire Facial, we feel that the simple “tube” kits are sufficient with a 2-3 times concentration but in a procedure like the OShot/PShot (just like in the Orthopaedic literature when treating a small space like a joint) in which a small amount of total PRP volume is to be injected, want to have the highest concentration possible to provide the best chance at a good result. Most advanced Vampire practitioners will agree and use the “more expensive” higher concentration double spin systems. However, when this treatment was first described by Dr. Runels, he used a “tube kit” with smaller concentration and saw results. I feel that the results are better with the higher concentrations but we do not have a large population of studied proof. You also want to make sure that you see a certified Vampire provider and one that specializes in the procedure you are seeking. Sorry for a long response but hope that helps!
The response is good & helps. Thank you
Great, glad to hear! Good luck!
Hello. Had the procedure done 10 days ago & I’ve felt nothing different during sex. Still no orgasm. Is this normal?
Hi my name is Queen and I’m thinking about getting the oshot but im afraid it may not work. It is to exspensive not to work. Have you seen any results yet

Hi I’m a LS sufferer, but I live in Australia NSW are there any providers who can help me that you know off. I’m really interested in the Oshots.
YES! I made this video to help you connect with a provider in Australia NSW
Video:
https://goo.gl/2kvzZJ
Hi, if you look at the top of this page at the find a provider link, change the country to Australia, you will see a number of providers in your area hopefully! I would encourage you though to make sure that the provider specializes and has experience in treating LS with the OShot (which can really help you) because not all providers do. Hope that helps!
would love to have a normal sex life again.
I had O-shot 2 weeks ago. I am still having pain at the injection site around left side of clotoris. Feels sore and painful to touch on left side. Which is were injections were given. Other injection site inside vagina are fine no pain with these. Is this normal and how long before pain subsides?
Not normal. PRP is a healing agent. Continued pain is not seen.
Did you have the procedure from one of our certificated providers?
http://Oshot.info/members/directory
Yes I did.
I would contact the provider and follow up with them soon about your continued pain as two weeks is long for it to have continued. You should have the provider examine you.
Had the shot done 10 days ago. I still did not orgasm or have any different sensations/feeling then from before. Should I be concerned that it didn’t work?
Hi Liv, glad you got the O-Shot. Your provider should have explained this to you in detail. 10 days is not enough time to really see an effect. It can take weeks to months so be patient. I would discuss this with your provider.
Hi Liv , was wondering if you had any results with your O shot ? I had 2 O shots September 2017 & December 2017 because of my history, I’m coming up on 3 month February 28 and hoping to have some excitement happening. I hope your O – shot worked for you 🙏❤️💋
Have their been any serious side effects reported after receiving the Oshot?
Here’s a detailed answer (click)<--
No side effects and
No help either. Mine is almost a year old wasted $
Ask for your money back or a repeat procedure. Nothing works all the time but most of us return all the money if you see no benefit.
Hello Dr. Runels. I am going to talk with my physician tomorrow since it’s been 13 weeks since my O shot and I have experienced NO positive results, no increase in libido, no increase in pleasure during sex, or in the orgasm department. Hopefully she will be able to do the procedure again, or return my money since it is quite expensive. I like her and am hopeful she will have more ideas. Thanks for your comments.
I had 1 in May (4 mos ago) and still waiting. Also have done 4 Thermiva, but nothing has helped. Should I wait or do another O-shot?
How long should I wait to ask for a repeat procedure? I had mine done 4 months ago with zero improvement. I had 3 Thermiva before the O Shot and 1 2 months after also.

I am 38 and have NEVER been able to have an orgasm sexually. I mean I know I can have them because my vibrator gets me there in no time. Will the oshot be able to make those areas more sensitive so that I can achieve an orgasm through intercourse? If so who is close to new orleans and I need your very next availability.
I am outside of New Orleans and would like to help you.
Kathleen Posey MD FACOG 985 8454111
Most women don’t have orgasms from intercourse alone. It usually takes some intense friction either from woman being on top or some kind of Kama Sutra stroking know how from your partner. Don’t know if the vibrator is your alone time or with your husband but my husband and I both like our we-vibe. It takes some practice to use but has been the best money spent on a toy. Hope this helps or makes you feel better.
I got the o’shot 9 days ago and my husband and I have only been intimate once since he’s away for work. Nothing felt any different. I know my doctor said that it takes time but other women have said they they had better orgasms right away. I’m worried that I’m one of the ones that the procedure won’t work for. We will try again when he gets back in a few days but I’m not holding my breath.
Here’s the answer to your question (click)<--
It has now been 8 months since I’ve had this procedure and it still hasn’t “kicked in”. I was really hoping that this would have worked for me. What should I do now?
Watch this video for more details…

If you’re not better after 8 weeks, you should let your provider know.
I would love to try to do anything to help with everything going on.:( this is horrible living like this!!
I’m getting 2nd O -shot in a few weeks & didn’t think to ask Dr. Brenner does the 3 day, 3 weeks , 3 months apply to the 2 nd shot or does it Activate the 1st O-shot right away ? Its been 7 years since I’ve have an orgasm due to menopause ?
I’m wondering the same thing
I had my 10 week follower up for the first o – shot and was told that 3 days, 3weeks, 3 months is the same even after 2 no O-shot ?Doctor also talked to me about doing AMNION ( which is StemCell) with my 2nd O -shot since I am a bit challenging. I am certain that I will also go fourth with that also , I have come this far can’t give up now.
I just had the shot last Thursday (5 days ago). My clitoris seems to be less sensitive than before I had the O shot. Is this a common side effect? I hope it’s temporary!
Here’s the complete answer to your question<--
I had my first O-Shot about 8 months ago, I am beginning to have urine leakage again. Also, after I had my first O-Shot, I had about 3 days of burning when I would pee.
Has anyone ever had any issues and/or know anything about women who deal with Bartholin gland cysts and received the O-shot?
Are there any negative side effects, like weight gain? I had the seeds implanted and they worked wonderfully but I also gained weight and had some other issues so I did not get the seeds again.
seeds?
Do you mean bio-identical hormone pellets? (Not part of the O-Shot, but having adequate testosterone levels are very important in libido and orgasm).
I am interested in a study for lichen sclerosis if there’s on available near the Raleigh, Durham NC area.
I have a question, I have recently purchased the o shot and I am having it done later this month. I am severely anemic, very low red blood cell count, and I want to know if this will affect the outcome of the shot, since I know the procedure uses your own blood to achieve the results.
I have had the o shot for several years for urinary stress incontinence and sexual enhancement with great results. For years I was diagnosed and treated for herpes by several doctors. Recently the pain returned and I treated myself for herpes with no relief. Dr. Posey did an exam for vestibulitis with a Q-tip and she felt I had this so I wanted to try PRP in the vestibule. it worked and the pain vanished within 2 days. My exam 3 weeks later with the Q-tip was completely normal. Thank you Dr. Posey and Dr. Runels for having the courage to be progressive and open minded to new techniques.
Thank you for this. I’ve had vulvar vestibulodynia for 10 years. I’ve tried everything and the pain and burning continues. I would like to find something that makes the burning stop. I’ve looked into the possibility of an O Shot but it’s so expensive and nothing else has worked; Its hard to take a chance on this. Thank you for the information.
Had o shot about a month and a half ago… was super excited about the possibilities… it was uncomfortable for a few days after then crickets…. no heightened sensitivity… didn’t stop peeing w cough… I’ve been waiting patiently and I just think it didn’t work!!! Not sure if it was done wrong or not enough used or what… I just feel duped. I’m tempted to try again but would hate to pay again w same results… thoughts???
Hi Riki, couple of things. First of all, make sure that you saw a Vampire/Oshot certified provider. if they are not listed on this website under the practitioner locator, then they are not certified and would not be performing it correctly. Secondly, results vary in extent and time. i would go back to your provider and discuss this with them. sometimes it takes longer than 3 months, sometimes patients need more than one treatment. you should also have been evaluated medically and for hormones and other issues that could be complicating things. Don’t give up! Hope that helps!
The first O shot I had I did not feel anything either so I had a 2nd one and that one did the trick – I just had my 3rd one last week – I waited 9 months after the 2nd one and then did the 3rd one.
Hi! I had the shot done in September & also no change in sensation. I complained to my provider at every follow up visit & she redid the shot 3 weeks ago. I have VERY little sensation now but also don’t think it was worth it & am disappointed. She told me the success rating on the oh shot is 70% & tried selling me on a more expensive laser proceedure. No thank you bc things will reverse to how they are now once that wears off. I wish I knew this info beforehand. I guess everyone reacts differently to the shot, works on some & not on others.
If you look at hair growth with PRP, or treatment of acne, or wound care, the best results appear after 3 to 4 treatments. So if you see improvement after 1 or 2, you often will see more improvement when you repeat it. Often incontenence improves on the first treatment and sex gets better on the second. I’d consider doing what your provider suggests and expect a refund if not better.
Hi Feelin your pain also,
I have sexual dysfunction since 2011 after menopause. Hubby and I have always had a great sex life prior to menopause. I started with hormone therapy testosterone pellets in 2012. In 2014 I had
Vaginal rejuvenation surgically .I did have clitoris sensation come back a week after surgery which only lasted 6 weeks, nothing since then , 2016 did 3 treatments 4 weeks apart of ThermiVa, September 2017 my first o-shot Doctors said with my history I would probably need a 2 nd O- shot in 12 weeks so in December 2017 went back for 2 nd O-shot I also added Amnion which is stem cell and the rule of 3days, 3 weeks , 3 month still applies for 2 nd o-shot which will be February 28 2018 so I’m still waiting for results 🙏❤️💋 I hope this helps . I will continue to do what comes my way to regain my sensation back to have that connection with my husband again we are very sexually Activate & I miss that connection with him 😢🙏
Hi all , March 2018 I continue to take advice of my Doctor ( Amy Brenner) & Dr.Runnels . Husband & I are currently in Sex Therapy with Kim Ronk in Cincinnati, Ohio we are starting to have a little success I am still unable to orgasm but feeling more connected having started therapy. We are understanding more about my condition & working through resolving my issues .Apprecaite your prayers it has been a very long 7 year journey 🙏❤️ But I will continue to stay hopeful, Believe that there is a purpose & a plan for our journey
Thank you all for support
I have LS and was misdiagnosed for years. I would love to have my sex life back!
I recently got the O shot injection on Friday and it was very painful the doctor gave me the topical numbing cream to insert and put on in the vaginal area. I’m having a lot of pain itching and burning since the injection and I’m just wondering if this is normal and how long it should last
If the provider follows our technique, most of the time it hurts less than Botox®. Make sure the person was listed here (click)<-- Our providers use numbing cream, then we use ice and a small lidocaine injection in exactly the correct place to put the clitoris to sleep like at the dentist. The whole think should be either completely or almost completely pain free almost every time.

I had the O shot done on February 13th, I noticed that what she was injecting was a watered down bloody type of liquid. I asked about it and she said everyone’s bodies are different and this is what mine produced. When I was in her office for a consultation I noticed another woman there for the same treatment, they brought out a syringe with gold liquid in it. She told her it was liquid gold that they would be using for the O shot.
My question is “why was mine not gold and does that mean it won’t work?”
The shot is expensive and I feel nervous for spending that much money and possibly needing another one. I’m just worried because mine did not look like the “liquid gold” that was suppose to be injected.
Help please. Just want to know if this procedure sounds legit. I did seek a Dr. Specializes in this in the Wichita area.
Thanks
tjean362008@yahoo.com
Does not matter if they say they “specialize” in it. If not listed on our website and claim that they are doing the O-Shot®, then they are breaking the law and I have no idea of what they are really doing. The provider should be using a device that’s approved by the FDA for preparing platelets to go back into the body. You have every right to watch your blood process and to make note of what device they might be using…and post the name here if you want clarification (or simply google the name of the device). Some of the best devices still leave blood in the liquid (young platelets are the same weight as RBC’s so some think it’s actually better if you have RBC’s in the liquid (which makes it red). So, the best PRP could sometimes be red, and the worst can sometimes be clear. Ask to see the device use to prepare the PRP and make sure your provider is listed here (click), and expect a repeat treatment or your money back if no improvement. If you do see improvement but want to see more improvement, expect to pay again…we trust people to be honest.
I fear I have lichen sclerosus as I have all the tell tale signs and appearance. I am 54 years old and have gone thru menopause early. I’m feeling very depressed and disheartened at this and am not in a position financially to afford this treatment fully. Do you have any providers that are able to help people like myself in the Florida area?
We have a non-profit and may have funds to help. Contact our non-profit here…

I’ve suffered with LS now for 19 years following a hysterectomy , watching it all fade away year after year first during perimenopause and now post menopause. I didn’t understand what was happening to me but in 2000 I stopped having sex with my husband because it caused pain. We have found other things we can do, but he has asked if we will ever have intercourse again. I am 58 and my health is precarious to say the least. I would like to try the O shot but I will need help financially. I don’t really care if the sexual sensation returns, I just want to sit, lay, drive, use the bathroom without agony. I will always meet my husbands needs one way or the other, but i just want to sit with him or walk with him. I’m at the end of my rope. I can’t take anymore of this horrible pain. This may be my last hope. 19 yrs of no sex I have nothing left for my dear loving husband.
Hi Mrs. Bender. I am sorry to hear of your struggles. The OShot may really be able to help you! I would recommend looking on this website for a certified OShot provider near you but you should make sure that they specialize in treating LS (as not all providers do, including myself). I know that Dr. Posey in New Orleans specializes in treating LS but there may be someone near you. Hope you find help soon!
I had clitoral scarring, painful intercourse and tearing; I had minor in-office surgery, PRP and O-Shot. After the one treatment a year ago, I feel I have been cured and alive again! I saw gynecologist Dr. Kathleen Posey in Louisiana 985-845-4111 and I highly recommend her.
Is this a one time treatment or something that has to be redone every so often??? Just wondering as this is a lot of money for something that need to be redone every so often
I do not know what or how often it will be needed. I will do my best to pay what I can.
Hi Dave, great question. One treatment generally provides good results although sometimes another treatment is recommended for better result within the first 3-6 months, depending on the severity of the condition and symptoms and the body’s response to the healing stimulation of the first treatment. We usually recommend “maintenance” treatments every 1-3 years, again depending on the condition/symptoms and the body’s response to treatment. Hope that helps! Please also make sure to go to a certified OShot provider who is experienced for best and safest results.
I am diabetic(29 years). I have decreased sensitivity and have a difficult time with orgasms. Is this something to consider
I was desperate to get over the chronic nature of LS. I did the o-shot 4 weeks ago and just went back for my second shot. My doctor said that I looked 30% better. I definitely feel better. Sex is no longer painful. I was constantly splitting before but that is no longer happening. I am so grateful for this and hope it helps others as well. I know it takes three months to really see the benefits so that is also exciting.
Did the shot twice since the first shot didn’t work & provider didn’t want to refund the money. It’s been 3 months since my 2nd shot & still doesn’t work. Waste of money.
You should request a refund. If the physician does not give you your money back, then post the name here.
I suffered with stress incontinence a couple of years after having my 4th child. I had the mesh sling surgery which helped for a few years. Now, I suffer with urge incontinence which is pretty severe at times and affects my confidence and daily living. I’m 47 and am very active and in fairly decent physical shape. I feel like I’m too young to be experiencing this. Early last year, I went to a urologist and tried meds which had terrible side affects so I then tried Botox injections in my bladder. That wasn’t much better. It worked for about 3 months but I had to cath myself for 2 weeks following the Botox to be able to empty my bladder completely. That was uncomfortable and caused bladder spasms. I heard about and researched the O shot and the providers. On September 22, 2017 I had my first O shot. I also had a vampire breast lift and facelift~I figured I would just get the works. I drove 3 hours to Montgomery, AL from the Gulf Coast area to Dr Ryan McWhorter. Dr. McWhorter was wonderful. He was so concerned and attentive to my needs. He made me feel completely comfortable and at ease because this was slightly embarrassing to me. The O shot was a little uncomfortable but the pain was short lived. My over-active bladder symptoms subsided for a brief time but what I didn’t realize was just how low my sex drive had been prior to the shot. I am over-the-moon now about how well the O shot helped me in an area I didn’t realize just how badly I suffered with: lubrication and increased desire. I no longer have to use synthetic lubrication! Vaginal dryness throughout intercourse is no longer an issue. I had a second O shot with amnion December 20, 2018 to see if that would help with my incontinence. Again, it seemed to help initially but I guess I’m just one of those challenging cases. Vaginal lubrication and sexual desire is still going strong. I am currently discussing having a third Oshot from Dr McWhorter. He is working really hard to find a nonsurgial option. I am confidant that he will find the perfect solution for me. I can’t thank Dr McWhorter enough for all he has done and continues to do for me. I highly recommend him to any and everyone. He is definitely worth the drive no matter how far away from Montgomery, AL you live.
I had the o-shot done yesterday by dr Tim Killough in Searcy Arkansas and he was absolutely amazing ! Iv had it done before a couple of years ago and wanted to do it again just not travel so far to have it done ! I was so glad to hear my physician was doing it ! My results are amazing I can already tell a difference.. it is a 💯 % must do … iv had 4 kids and a hysterectomy… life takes a toll on the human body but this shot has been a true lifesaver … and dr Tim Killough made it such a comfortable and relaxing procedure ❤️
Because of the lichen sclerosis I have not had sexual relations in over 20 years
I had my O Shot done in February 2018 and absolutely no difference. 4 months and I thought I would be able to see a difference. I did it for both orgasms and urinary leakage. Very disappointing for the amount of money it cost. Not sure what the next step will be. $1100 is a lot to just keep doing it with no difference.
I realize it’s not a garentee but was hoping for some change. I went to a certified Dr from the site and she said she has done several in the Kansas City area.
How many of you have done it again when you seen no change with the first one. Did it work after another shot? Did you go back to the same Dr?
If no change, the doctor should either repeat once for free or give your money back. If not, then post the name here.
I got the o-shot in October 2017 and it didn’t work for me. I went to a provider that I found on provider list on this site. It seems that all of the other reviews show that the procedure is successful and very few say that it wasn’t. I’m very disappointed because I had such high hopes that this would work for me and I’m still paying for the procedure. Are all of the approved providers required to perform a second procedure or give a full refund?
Yes, they are.
Restorative Health- Jennifer Perry, APRN-BC member since 2015 is on the O-Shot directory.
I called 7/5/18 the receptionist had no idea what the procedure would be as far as a refund or try again. I had to leave a message for Jai Simpson, Medical Sales Consultant to call me back as of today 7/16/18 no return call. I will try again today to get through to Jai Simpson.
Called Restorative Health 7/16/2018 and once again Jai was unavailable. I told the receptionist I had already left a message a few weeks prior and she even took my name and number, said she would give it to Jai. And I left another message on her voice mail. Poor business ethics on there part. And a waste of hard earned money.
August 2 and still can not get a return call or talk to anyone other then the receptionist.
Very very disappointed!!!
I’m researching current options for LS beyond high potency topical steroids. What procedural or technique difference is done for this condition? Since all alternatives are not covered by insurance I am skeptical and discouraged by the multitude of marketing claims and lack of scientific data.
I’m in the metro-Detroit area and while I have a list of practioners, none claim to have training or experience with LS. May I suggest a specific designation that practioners have received additional training.

Thank you Dr. Runels for your consideration as a candidate for this study!
The O – shot did nothing for me. So do I leave the providers name in this comment section? So I can hav wit repeated . My doctor jut told me to try testosterone cream after the shot did not work.
I need help!
My fiance is not happy with our sex life. I barely want to have sex because I don’t have a sex drive. I want to be able to please my fiance but it’s hard when l don’t feel anything. I live him dearly and if he leaves me or cheat on me because I don’t want to have sex I will be devastate.
Sheronda, I am a physician who performs these procedures and also teaches Dr. Runels’ courses in Austin, TX. I am so sorry to hear your relationship is suffering because of your lack of libido. I can completely relate as that was my problem about 2 years ago after finishing having children. I also worried my husband would consider wandering because I didn’t want sex nor did I enjoy it despite loving him dearly and there being no other marital discourse. Here are my suggestions: 1) See a board certified physician who does hormone replacement (preferably hormone pellets such as BioTE) and have your testosterone checked. I can almost guarantee it is below 12. You will feel much better with it in the 150-250 range which can easily be achieved in a 5-minute procedure every 3-4 months. 2. Have your thyroid checked, and specify that you would like your free T3 and T4 checked in addition to your TSH (screening checked). Better thyroid help leads to more gratifying intercourse and helps libido. 3. Get an O-Shot from a certified provider such as myself. They work and you should have 0-1/10 pain. 4. Talk to your fiancé and tell him what you’re going through. Explain that you probably have a hormone imbalance and are excited to get yourself feeling better, but it may take a few months if he can bear with you. If you feel like you’re being sneaky about your treatment, you may not benefit as much. Great sex takes trust and communication, as does marriage. I’ve been with my husband for 12 years and we are having the best sex of our lives after O-Shots and Priapus Shots. I’m also on testosterone and supplement my thyroid. I hate to see women (and men) have sex lives that are less than fulfilling. But I love to see women experience the closeness that a great sex life can add to a relationship. If you think I can help you, I would be honored to do so. Please reach out. Emily Porter, MD https://wrinklefreemedspa.com/treatments/o-shot-in-leander-texas/
Sheronda,
I am so very sorry to hear that you are struggling in your relationship and are not feeling sexually fulfilled in what should be an exciting time before a marriage. It is obvious that you love your fiancé or you wouldn’t be here trying to find a solution so that you can please him. I was the same way 2 years ago myself after having 4 kids in 4 years. I loved my husband, but had absolutely no desire and the satisfaction from sex was greatly diminished compared to before my kids. I worried that his previously loyal eye might begin to wander and it broke my heart because I adored him and we had no marital discord. Then I did something, and it changed everything for me. I’m having the best sex of my life. I’m going to suggest the exact same thing for you. Here are my suggestions:
1. Check your testosterone. See a board certified physician (doesn’t have to be a gynecologist) and see what your level is. I’m willing to bet the farm it’s below 12. Find someone who does bio-identical hormone replacement, preferably pellets such as BioTE. A 5 minute procedure every 3-4 months with a level of 150-250 will do wonders for your libido. Testosterone also strengthens orgasms. Win-win. It has a number of other great effects on mood as well as the heart, bones, breast, and brain.
2. Check your thyroid. Make sure they check the free T3 and T4 in addition to the TSH. Thyroid stabilizes moods, improves libido, arousal, lubrication and satisfaction. Read all about that Here.<<<
3. Get an O-Shot. They work. See one of our certified providers from this directory. Pain should be 0-1/10 and we all offer a money back guarantee, but I’d like you to do #1 and #2 first or concurrently for the best outcome.
4. Tell your fiancé what is going on. If you’re secretive about things, your sex will suffer even when your libido comes back. The best sexual gratification comes with open communication and absolute trust between lovers. If you’re sneaking around, you likely won’t relax enough to have the sex you deserve. Plus, you don’t want him thinking you’re cheating on him with someone else and that’s the reason you don’t have much interest in him. He’s probably thinking the worst already. You love him, so you owe him that.
5. Forgive yourself. You have a hormone imbalance. It is not your fault. You wouldn’t feel guilty or ashamed if your appendix got infected, would you? You didn’t cause this, and you’re doing everything you can to fix it. That’s why you’re here.
The above 5 things saved my marriage. And I feel so passionately about helping women just like you that I not only perform O-Shots, bio-identical hormone therapy, and other procedures for women and men, but I am a certified teacher for Dr. Runels and teach other physicians and healthcare providers how to do them as well. I hate to see that you’re struggling and worried; it’s not a good feeling. I’m sorry that your sex life is not as gratifying as you’d like it to heading into a new marriage. But I love to help people just like you strengthen their relationships and discover pleasure in ways they haven’t before. I’m in Austin, TX. If you think I can help you, it would be my honor. https://wrinklefreemedspa.com/treatments/o-shot-in-leander-texas/

i have never had an orgasm
Fatima,
I’m so very sorry to hear that you have never had an orgasm, but I’d like you to know that you are no alone. Upwards of 40% of all women have some degree of sexual dysfunction, whether it be anorgasmia (lack of orgasm), dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), or other. The female orgasm is complex. In order to achieve it, it requires several things.
1. You have to be comfortable with yourself and your body, and know your body. And you have to be able to communicate this to a partner. If you don’t know what feels good to you, how would they? Ever person responds a little differently to touch. We are all snowflakes.
2. You have to be void of pain. If you have dryness, tightness, bleeding, etc, you will never be able to experience the pleasure required for orgasm.
3. You have to be well and have balanced hormones. Estrogen, progesterone testosterone and yes, even thyroid hormone all contribute to stronger orgasms. Have your levels check and I recommend bioidentical pellet therapy.
4. You have to forgive yourself. You are not alone. And there is hope. I have one patient I treated with a rare inflammatory condition called lichen sclerosis that she wasn’t even aware she had. She hadn’t had intercourse in 12 years. She couldn’t masturbate because it was too painful. She began with bio-identical hormone replacement with me followed by a serious of vaginal laser treatments and an O-Shot. At 60 years old, she confided having multiple orgasms for the first time ever and the best sex of her life. This was over the course of about 9-12 months.
5. You have to be patient. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Surely you can appreciate the pleasure sex blesses you with despite never having an orgasm. It will make it all that much better when it happens though.
I hate to see women suffer. Sex (and orgasm) is a beautiful thing. If you think I can help you, please reach out. I’d love to help you in any way that I can. I can’t promise results, but my personal experience after having 4 children in 4 years and low libido, painful intercourse, and anorgasmia was completely revolutionized by the O-Shot combined with hormone therapy. That is why I’m so passionate about offering these procedures to my patients and also am a certified teacher of these procedures to other physicians from around the world.
Hi there I’m 26 years old and considering this to enhance my sex life. I haven’t had children or had any trauma but my partner seems to think I could be “tightened up”. I certainly wouldn’t mind healthier tissue, preventing future incontinence issues, and a chance at an orgasm, but is my age a contraindication? Will this work for me? Thanks!
PRP works in the same way that tissue heals after injury. If you can heal a surgical wound, then PRP could potentially help you. Your provider will ask other questions, but that’s the main thing about the effectiveness of the PRP to regenerate tissue.
Hey there. I am in the same boat as you and just want more desire to want to have sex. Never had kids. Did you get the shot since you last posted andnif so what were the results?
How would I know if the materials the’re using are or are not FDA approved ?
Ask to see the centrifuge used to process the blood and the tube that contains the blood.
Then google it, or simply post the name of the tube or device here.
So far treatments haven’t worked would love something that does
Bettina,
To what treatments are you referring? I’d love to help you.

Hi. I am 30 years old and do not feel anything during sex. I am also on Yaz and have no sexual experience to compare before this. Do I need to wait until I get off Yaz to see if it’s just a hormonal problem or should I get the the O-Shot anyway? I do not plan on ever getting off it until I try to get pregnant because it helps keep my skin clear.
Yaz can definitely decrease libido as well as increase sex hormone binding globulin which decreases testosterone. Testosterone starts to decrease around age 25 or 28 anyway, and birth control pills worsen the problem making arousal and orgasm more difficult. The O-Shot will still help with sensation despite being on birth control pills. And help with libido and lubrication, making sex more satisfying. Supplemental testosterone will increase things even more, even if on birth control. I would aim to have a serum testosterone of at least high normal, somewhere upwards of 75, and some physicians will treat to a level of 150-250. In summary, yes, the O-Shot will be of use to you, but your greatest sex will be with optimized testosterone and that will likely mean going off birth control at some point. You can also try supplementing with DHEA and something called DIM before adding testosterone. -Emily Porter, M.D. Austin, TX
I’ve tried the O shot twice and the diva. Sensitivity has increased some but no orgasm. I have checked my hormone levels and everything is normal except my testosterone level is very low. Have started on a cream testosterone. Do you think because my testosterone is almost nonexistent that could be the reason for my not having an orgasm?
ABSOLUTELY! Most women do best if their free testosterone is in the upper 25% of normal.
I would also make sure your thyroid is optimized. See Dr. Runels’ post on this topic. Ask for more than a TSH but also a free T3 and free T4. http://oshot.info/thyroid/#.W_9n3rbMwXo
I was diagnosed with LS over 10yrs ago, after the initial discomfort of painful sex and itching I have not had any symptoms (but using topical steroid cream).
I am sexually active with no pain and other than the white unsightly skin tone it feels normal.
I have tried the PRP injections maybe 3 times, can’t say I have seen any difference.
What I don’t understand is that sometimes I see more healthy tissue than others.
Does it normally flare up and then settle?
I’m always hoping I will wake one day and it will have just gone away!,,
I empathise greatly with all my fellow LS sufferers.
PRP injections are not always prepared or delivered the same. If you did not have the procedure done by one of our O-Shot® providers (licensed by the Cellular Medicine Association), then you may not have been optimally treated. Nothing is 100% effective, but for optimal chances of healing, I’d see someone on our list who has the lichen sclerosus icon by their name on the directory…
world-wide list of O-Shot® procedure providers<---
My Obgyn has recommended the O-shot to remedy my bladder prolapse. Any thoughts if this is the right course of treatment?
Is your OB on the list of providers? Bladder prolapse as well as cystocele and urethrocele are usually treated surgically. The O-Shot works wonders for stress urinary incontinence by helping support the area underneath the urethra internally. It sounds like your OB would know best in this case because he/she has done an internal exam, but the O-Shot is not generally helpful for actual bladder prolapse.
