Dr. Kenneth Orbeck practices integrative and functional medicine in his South Carolina-based bio identical hormone practice: BodyLogicMD of Greenville. Dr. Orbeck dedicates his practice to helping men and women find relief from hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, thyroid disorders, and multiple metabolic derangements using a three-tiered approach to wellness by combining customized nutrition and fitness regimens with bio identical hormone therapy. Dr. Orbeck believes that proper diet, regular exercise, and balanced hormones are the cornerstones of longevity. Dr. Orbeck made the decision to transition into antiaging and preventative medicine because he wanted the opportunity to spend more time with each patient in order to address their health and wellness needs from a preemptive perspective. As a bio identical hormone expert, Dr. Orbeck specializes in treating the underlying causes of symptoms oftentimes associated with aging; such as hot flashes, night sweats, low libido, weight gain, fatigue, mood swings, and irritability. Dr. Orbeck believes in achieving external beauty to internal wellness. Dr. Orbeck is a firm believer in rejuvenation and offers platelet rich plasma as a method of rejuvenation and restoration. Dr. Chorness is originally from California and has lived in the SE for the past 23 years. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her master’s degree in cell biology from the University of California, Davis. She went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago. She completed her OB/GYN residency at a combined Kaiser Permanente/Stanford University program in 1992. Dr. Chorness has re-defined her practice to gynecology only and enjoys practicing all aspects of Women’s Health with an emphasis on wellness and hormone therapy.
