Angel S. Paas, MD

At Spa La Paz in Kennesaw, Georgia, Angel Paas, MD, combines her many years of experience with a kind and calm demeanor, providing the highest quality of gynecological, surgical, and aesthetic care to her patients. She believes that a woman’s health is a combination of that which makes her feel good on the inside and beautiful on the outside, and striking a balance between physical and mental well-being is critical in caring for the whole woman.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in neuroscience from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Paas went on to complete her medical degree at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. While in medical school, Dr. Paas was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society and graduated in the top 10% of her class. She then went on to complete her OB/GYN residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Paas is a member of many organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Georgia OB/GYN Society, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Cobb County Medical Society. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and maintains her annual certification.

Dr. Paas is an experienced, well-trained physician with clinical expertise in preventive care, adolescent gynecology, managing the transition through perimenopause and postmenopause, and contraceptive counseling. To further improve her provision of care for her patients, Dr. Paas regularly participates in training for new technologies as well as procedural advancements and breakthroughs and offers many of these techniques as in-office treatments.

She is a devoted wife and mother to two boys and spends much of her free time involved with their activities.
